Meet the doctors
The owner of the practice, and the second generation of Moore dentists in it. After dental school in Houston he completed a residency in the Air Force, served two more years, then joined his father, Dr. Monte Moore, in practice here.
Dr. Andrew Moore was inspired by his father, grandfather and great-grandfather, all dentists while he was growing up. He practises with Dr. Michael three days a week.
Owner of the practice. Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, then an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in the U.S. Air Force, where he was awarded the Air Force Achievement Medal. Certified by the Misch Implant Institute.

Cosmetic dentistry
Dr. Moore works with an elite group of lab technicians, and the aim is always the same: teeth that match your own in colour, size and shape. By the practice’s own count it has placed more than five hundred all-porcelain restorations on front teeth in a four-year span.

Thin porcelain shaped over the front of the tooth to change its colour, size or shape, or close a gap.
A full porcelain cap for a tooth too broken or decayed for a filling, matched to the teeth either side.
Custom porcelain fillings made to fit the tooth, for damage too large for a composite but too small for a crown.
A missing tooth replaced by porcelain anchored to its neighbours, fixed in place rather than removable.
Chair-side whitening, or custom trays made from impressions of your own teeth to use at home.
Tooth-coloured resin bonded into the tooth, so a repair does not show when you smile.

From a child’s first sealants to full-mouth restoration, most care happens right here, so you are not sent between several specialists.

Dental implants
Dr. Moore handles both the surgical placement and the restoration of implants, from a single tooth to a full arch, using 3D imaging and computer-guided surgery.
Sedation, sleep apnea & TMJ
Some of the most useful things a dentist does are not about a single tooth at all.
Nitrous oxide, or oral conscious sedation taken by mouth before the visit. You stay awake, just calm, and many patients remember little of the procedure. Please bring someone to drive you home.
For loud snoring, waking up gasping or daytime sleepiness. A custom appliance gently holds the lower jaw forward so the airway stays open, a less intrusive option than a mask.
Jaw pain, headaches, grinding, or a jaw that clicks or locks. Treatment adjusts the bite with splint or oral appliance therapy, often worn only at night.

In pain, or lost a crown? Call us. Dr. Moore sets aside time for emergency patients, and we will get you in right away.
We accept all PPO insurance plans and are in network with most of them. Our staff prepare the forms for your benefits and will gladly submit a pre-treatment estimate, so you know your coverage before you start.
Payment is expected at the time of service. When more extensive care is needed, financial arrangements can be made with our office.
We accept the CareCredit healthcare credit card, which spreads treatment into monthly payments. Applying is free, the decision is immediate, and you can schedule before the card arrives. Subject to credit approval.

Frequently asked questions
We accept all PPO insurance plans and are in network with most of them. Our staff will gladly send a pre-treatment estimate to your insurance company first, so you know what your benefits will be before treatment starts.
Yes. We offer nitrous oxide and oral conscious sedation for some procedures. Both leave you awake but relaxed, and your vital signs are monitored throughout. Come in for a consultation to see if you qualify, and plan for someone to drive you home after oral sedation.
Call us at (281) 486-9222. Dr. Moore sets aside time for emergency patients, and we will get you in as quickly as we can. If a tooth is knocked out, pick it up by the crown, rinse it without touching the root, keep it moist in milk, and come straight in. If you cannot reach us, go to the nearest emergency room.
At least twice a year, and more often if your dentist or hygienist recommends it. Each visit includes a medical history review, x-rays when needed, an oral cancer screening, a gum disease check and an exam for decay.
The American Dental Association considers them safe. If you would rather have something else, tooth-coloured composite, porcelain and gold are all options, and we are happy to talk them through.
Cash, personal checks, money orders and major credit cards. Payment is expected at the time of service, and for more extensive treatment financial arrangements can be made with our office. We also accept CareCredit, which lets you spread the cost into monthly payments, subject to credit approval.
